Van Os en Van den Berg is a specialised contractor with a strong focus on foundation repair and basement construction. Since our founding in 1947, we have been committed to solving moisture problems in the greater Amsterdam area and beyond. Over the past three decades, our focus has shifted more and more toward foundation repair and renovating existing basements. In addition, we specialize in creating entirely new underground living spaces.
Van Os en Van den Berg was founded in 1947 by Mr. Van Os and Mr. Van den Berg, originally as a moisture control company. Using a patented Swiss method to combat rising ground moisture, the company made hundreds of homes and commercial spaces moisture-free during its early decades.
The second generation developed its own method, centered around concrete wedges, known as the ISOKEG system. This allowed the company to expand its services even further, making homes and commercial spaces moisture-free ánd future-proof. Even far beyond the Dutch borders.
The third generation within the company used the accumulated knowledge and experience to start building basements themselves. Foundation repair also became an important part of the business. Today, the fourth generation is working within the company. The basement services and specializations have continued to grow, allowing us to find the right solution for every challenge. A personal and worry-free approach is very important to us, with a constant focus on delivering top quality.
